Linda, an award winning artist,
began her career in 1987, after being
inspired by a gift of a Grumbacher oil
paint set given by her mother in 1983.
Having a strong interest in nature
since she was a youngster, she has spent
much time in the outdoors and in developing
her self-taught, realistic style.
Linda, a former southern Indiana farm girl, came to Florida to reside in the Pinellas
County area in 1969. In 1982 she and her
family moved to the pristine area of Steinhatchee,
where she now lives surrounded by the wildlife
she loves and creates in oil on canvas.
Linda's goal is to create a good piece
of art as well as produce an affect that
causes people to think about wildlife and
it's ever vanishing habitat. Linda invites anyone in the Steinhatchee area to drop into Roy's Restaurant to view a selection of her framed prints, or feel free to phone for an appointment to view her latest originals.
